DIY Shopwars is bringing together some of the Bay Area’s creative companies under one roof to compete for creative supremacy with a cause.  Each company will customize a toy to show off their innovation on this unique 3D medium.  Some of the companies include graphic design firms, sticker companies, printers, tattoo parlors, and art studios.

At the event, each customized art piece will be on sale for $80 with 50% of the proceeds going to Project Open Hand.  Visitors will be able to vote on their favorite pieces using their drink tickets to elect the winner of this year’s DIY Shopwars.

The show will take place in San Francisco’s 1AM Gallery (1000 Howard St.) on September 25^th at 6:30pm.  The event will open to the public at 8:00pm.
